The viet cong won the vietnam war because of thier will to fight for vietnamese unity, and superior geurilla tactics. These tactics included many forms of booby traps, some of them dating back to prehistory. One example of vietnam are punji stakes. These are sharpened and firehardened stakes of bamboo, sometimes covered in filth to cause infection to any unlucky fucker who stumbles upon them. They can be concealed in a hole covered with brush and twigs. You can also make them out of normal fire hardened wook, and sharpened nails driven into boards. These were first used by aborigional tribes hunting games, but later incorperated into VC tactics. I have used modified forms of this booby trap with my friends when i was a kid to punture other kid’s bike tires who lived in other niehborhoods and occasionaly on cars to punture thier tires 4 fun. Another type of booby trap is the spiked ball. This consisted of a log pulled up on a rope that swung and impaled the person who triggered the trip wire. It bristled with punji stakes or other sharp objects. I’m an expert at street fighting tactics and booby traps, so if ur ever planning on an anarchist uprising, or fighting in a riot talk to me.
