the oxy/acetylene bomb is probably the simplest and most powerful homemeade explosive there is.(in my opinion).
The last one I made blew the doors off a shipping container and just about rounded out the sides as well.It was in a 240l garbage bin liner bag. (just a big plastic bag).
All you need is oxy cutting gear,Fill up the bag with 3 parts oxygen and 1 part acetylene. You only have to guess the amount, its not rocket science.Seal the end with a simple fuse poked in the end.I just sealed it with electrical tape.
You have to be careful not to set it off by accident with static electricity, because you wont live thru it.Dust inside the bag can cause enough static to set it off.I also ground myself before playing with these,,just simply touch the ground to get rid of any static from your body.Have fun and stand way way back.

are you fucking serious? my dad has those tanks and i was gonna fill up a bag and shoot fireworks at it.

i had no clue how dangerous it is. i figured it would just be more of a fire spoof then a powerful blast.

Im serious mate,,the gas does not need to be contained in something hard or solid. The gas ratio mix is best between 3 to 1 and 2 to 1 ,depending on the quality of the gases,,either way its good.

(oxygen to acetylene) ratios should be 2.5 : 1 to be exact :) (should be. Never did this, but thats what it comes out to be, after a single step calculation). Anyway, a little less wont hurt as the residue gas will burn anyway upon contact with atmospheric air. But more than this will be simple waste of space. Also, notice that the ratio given is in terms of pure oxygen. If you dont have pure oxygen, then simple use (atmosphere air to acetylene ratio) as 15:1, assuming a conc of 16% in the air. Anyway, I have never done this, just a simple calculation. Use at your own risk. Or better yet, dont do this at all. Have a nice day folks. :)
