Ok, ive never really tried to make one but, this is how i would make one,
what you need is:
A tall, straight, atleast 4’5 young tree. (the thickness, you decide) u know like a pole or somethin’
knife, (matchet or axe)
bow saw or anything that can cut a tree down(axe, saw, hatchet, ect.)
rope
a piece of metal that can of cut into a diamon shape,
(a sheet of metal or somethin’ like it)
What you do:
ok what you do is cut down the tree, peal the bark off so it will dry faster. After you do that, you cut two notches into the pole (see the picture)
and then make a thin slit into the top of it (see in picture) then cut your metal (see pic.) into that shape, then shove the metal into the pole then wrap the rope a lot over the ends until very firm. thats all there is to it.
I would throw it at trees like a javalin or something, rate this please! |

yea, but the desing sucks just have the tip keep going, and lash it on the side. or just throw a knife... or just... go to bed.. im going to bed right now, you should too, ull feel better in the morning. |

you dont need to make it that complicated.
all you have to do is make a split in the end of the wood (big enough to fit your metal/i used a big pointy rock)
then you just tie up the stick where the split is. keep going so it wraps over the rock a little bit and pins it down tight.

spears are fun though, i made one basically just like this, except i used stone for the tip, and it flew pretty straight. |

You wanted to show how to make a speare and you did fine, so 5. The picture does not suck, Anyone with a brain could make a spear using it.
You could rub the top of the stick into concrete making the end sharp also, i use to do that in like 5th grade, my little trio an me were so kick ass. |
