OK, here is how to make as many darts as possible using just £2/$2.
Equipment
-4 cocktail sticks You may need to buy a tub of cocktail sticks, that’s why it costs
-1 sewing needle
-A roll of cotton wool
-A square piece of paper, about 5cm x 5cm (Card doesn’t always work)
Okay, once you’ve got all that, you should be set.
Step 1. Get the cocktail sticks and line them up making a sort of cuboid. Then tie half of it loosely with the cotton.
Step 2. Insert the needle 1/4 of the way inside the centre of the cocktail ’cuboid’ (common sense says the non-pointy end) and tie the ’cuboid’ tighter with the wool. You can make it neat and cover the whole half in the wool. Then tie it up or glue it down. I don’t recommend cello tape as it looks untidy and can come off when wet.
Step 3. Now for the tail. Fold all the corners into the middle, and then fold it in half both ways (Top and side) unfold it(Except for the corners) , and then do the same the opposite way round (Fold it backwards [The opposite way you did it last time]) Now unfold again (Except for the corners again) and fold lengthways. Then take hold of both ends and push them towards each other. Now you should have tail like on normal darts.
Step 4. Now push the tail onto the non-tied end of the dart with one stick on each side of the tail, if you know what I mean?
Step 5. Have Fun!
PS. You can decorate the tail and colour the body if you want...
PPS. I cannot accept absolutely the tiniest of responsibility if you or any other persons/animal is hurt. Be safe and never throw at another life-form.
