Homemade RPG

A RPG not for the faint of heart. Just joking.
Okay this is a hard to make RPG that requires some knowledge in Model Rocketry but can be made with some easy to get and fairly cheap supplies.

Materials
model rocket engine

like that one
-Touch Explosive like shown herehttp://isuisse.ifrance.com/emmaf/anarcook/indanarcook.html
-CO2 Canister (small ones about 2" long)
-Flasch Powder
-Balsa or Plastic (preferably Plastic b/c more durable) from a hobby shop, have to be about the length of the rocket engine.
-Epoxy and Hardener
-Electrical Tape
-1 1/2" ABS Pipe 4’ Long ( for shoulder launcher
-Electric Rocket Ignition System (from rocket kit or hobby store)
-Saw

Procedure
Making the RPG Part

GRENADE
-Drill out the small hole in the CO2 canaster so you can fit touch explosives in it.
-1/4 fill the CO2 canister with Touch Explosives.
-1/2 fill over the touch explosives with the flash powder.
-fill the remaining 1/4 with touch explosives.



ROCKET
The following is the Rocket Part which will propel the grenade.
-Attach the 4 Plastic/ Balsa fins to the rocket engine symetrically so they are square with one another with the Epoxy and Hardener.
Wait till Dry.
-Put some more touch explosive over the Ejection Charge. Like shown Here



Attaching them together
-Place the nozzle part (small part where air comes from) over the Ejection charge so it looks like a Rocket engine with CO2 canister at the front.
- Tape the two together as is like made till the canister is covered with layer of electrical tape.

Launcher
If you want to be cool you will make this launcher that is used like the real thing. Over the Shoulder.

-Cut 4 slots in the ABS pipe 2 1/2’ lond so that the RPG slides in and out of the tube. (like a guidance system)





Launching
Heres how to launch your newly constructed RPG.

-Put RPG into pipe so the clay nozzle on engine is seen
-Put the electic igniter

like above into the hole in the engine.
-attach alligator clips from remote launcher onto the igniter.
-put the pipe over shoulder and FIRE!


The RPG should fly out of the tube and you might get burnt if you are too close. Then the RPG should hit the target and ignite the touch explosives in turn igniting the Flash Powder exploding the CO2 canister.


If the Rocket ignites but dosnt fly out of tube drop the mother and run because the ejection charge will fire and light the CO2 canister causing it to explode beside you.

i tried it and it shot out super fast and landed on the ground and a split second later it blew up with a lout BANG. sweet egg 5*

when you do the four slits make them ina spiral and the rocket is more acurate

sounds cool, but wouldn’t the friction from the grooves rip the fins off and wouldn’t the blast from the rocket engine burn you. Also, wouldn’t the CO2 cartridge make it weigh too much in the front and crash? 4*
