This is the story of the time i decided to be mean.
It was my sophomore year in high school. I had been having problems with this one skater kid who must have thought he was hot shit (he was a junior, btw). Nothing really bad--just that he did things without being provoked. One time he just flipped me off, just cuz, another time he shoved my friend down the stairs. Apparently, my friend had "looked at him wrong."
So he needed to go down. And what’s the best way to get back at someone? By hurting the things they love.
So on Monday, I put a note in his locker: "You hurt people all the time, but you don’t really know what it’s like to be hurt and angry. So I’m going to show you in a few days." Of course I didn’t sign it; I had even typed it, instead of hand-written it.
Now it so happened that he had a freshman brother, and these two guys really looked out for each other--they were as close as brothers could get. So the Friday after i planted the note, I jumped the little brother (with a mask, of course). And boy did i do a number on him. Broke a finger, dislocated a shoulder, bloody nose, black eyes, wrenched knee, and a whole lot of other stuff. I heard the older bro talking to his friends later that his brother had been pissing blood (but he was most likely making it up, for sympathy). And the next monday, the little brother found a note in his locker: "You got beat up because your older brother is an asshole to everyone around." Because of that note, the little brother didn’t think so highly of his sibling anymore, and last I heard, he has barely talked to him in the last two years. And i bet that felt "real good" for the older guy.
May 01, 2005 7:20 pm - he’s got a point you know--hurting the things they love. besides, beating the bad guy up doesn’t always teach him a lesson. and the author is a newb, he probably didn’t read the guidelines for eggs, blogs, and such.
May 13, 2006 10:10 am - Dude i skate but im not a wank. Just break his deck. If he’s got a good one it’ll set him back a good 180bucks. I hate it when i break my deck. Or steal all his bearings or steal 2 wheels or something.
