This works with anything in a DVD case (PC/PS2 games, DVDs etc). Its simple, buy the game you want. At which it is then your and you can do what the hell you want with it. Some games come in a plastic seal cover, it make it easier if the game you want is in one of those. Once you have the game in a secure location, heres what to do next.
At the top and bottom of the plastic cover is a stuck seal in the plastic, you will need to unstick it (preferably without braking the plastic cover too much), allowing you to slip the case out of the cover. Once you have the case out you can then remove the CD and manual (the manual if you wish, but best to leave something in to give it some weight). Then try to ease the case back into the plastic cover (its a b[@ch to do). Once the empty case is back in the cover you can glue the plastic cover closed again. Thus making it look as though it has been untouched.
At this point, you can return the game for some reason (your mate bought it for you without you knowing or something else) and hopefully get a refund.
P.S. for games sold without a plastic cover, buy a really cheap game for like a dollar or something (or the cheapest you can find) and use the plastic cover from that. I have managed to return a game in a plastic cover, when the shop sold it without one.
The best part, if you get cought! You simply say "You sold me an empty case" and act shocked, as you bought the case once it was put back on the shelf, or so they will think.
It will piss the shop manager off as after a while of doing it, they will have a lot of games being returned by a lot of unhappy customers! (and just think about that poor little kid who opens and empty games case for his birthday!). Let me know how easy you found it.
