I’m going to buy a new hard drive soon, and I can’t decide between internal or external.

Internal = faster, most likely cheaper
External = portable

What do you guys think?

If you have more than one computer, then I say external. You can move tons of files easily that way.

If you only have one computer, then go for the internal.

I only have one computer (pc, obviously), but I might buy a laptop sometime in the future, or another pc.

No way, internal is the way to go. You do know what you’re doing right?

I would rather have internal because it would take up less space and be faster. I only have one pc though so meh.

I decided to go for an internal along with a smaller external. That way, if I need to transfer/back something up I can. I’m thinking around 400g-500g for the internal, and around 40g for the external.
