Cause it’s pretty simple, just grab the star by one of the points and chuck it, like an overhand throw, the more you snap your wrist at the end the more spin the star has, not enough and it wont have enough force to stick, but to much and you loose control and your aim sucks. you just have to fuck around until you find where it feel right and your getting it to consitantly stick. then you can learn to throw it sideways like a frisbee and from the outside or throw it behind you. but start with the basic overhand throw

Honestly no, The way you think you would throw a throwing star is pretty much exactly the way your throw one, if you’ve ever seen a ninja movie, the way they do it will probably work. it’s a really simple weapon
