Maybe, but I doubt it. I remember when I was like 7 and my hands were small enough to just reach inside and take what I wanted. Those were the days.............

I say you use aluminum foil or cardboard; I think theres a pressure sensor in there

no it wouldnt work unless teh paper clip was the same weight as teh quarter because there are weight sensors

I don’t think it’d work. Buy a steel junction box for household wiring, knock out the slugs, and use them.
The little round things on the side of the box, 9 in all, can be removed and used as slugs.

I tried the paper clip idea (we have one in our kitchen) and it doesnt work.
Washers cost more than a quarter, whats the point?
