I work at A&W. For anyone who doesn’t know what that is, it’s an old 50’s style drive-in burger joint. I make the food, so basically I have a stereotypical teenage job. So who else has a job?

At my job I get acetone poisening washing labels off piping and such. Atleast thats what I did today. Ill probably have cancer from that in a couple years, but atleast it pays well($10.50 an hour). Tommorow I get to dig a 3 foot wide 1 foot deep trench on the perimeter of a building. Oh the joys of being a construction labourer.

My current job involves sitting on my ass...THe only place close (walking distance) is McDonalds..And im not gonna resort to working there..I’ll wait till i get my lisence.

I made friends with one of the guys (well actually 3) that work at the A & W I go to sometimes on Saturdays.
What happened was I wore my SOAD concert shirt, and the guy commented on it. Ever since they always talk to me about music.
Are you one of those guys? The friendly ones? If so, that would be wicked.
I work in the library ( no, i’m not a book nerd) shelving books for $9.00 per hour. I get approximately 9-10 hours a week, so it’s an alright job. I used to have a night job at the local grocery store cataloging and everything, but that got to be a real pain since it was barely above minimum wage so I quit.
When I was your age (15, right?) I used to paint for my neighbours. I’d paint fences, walls, and sometimes garages. The best I ever got was $11.00 an hour for one fence, so I took my time and ended up earning $82.50.
I suggest getting out of that shithole of a job, find a better paying job (I assume it pays bad, since it’s a fast food joint) and stick to it.
My brother also works for the library, and he gets paid more than my parents :)
Right now I’m in post secondary so I hope to find a career which pays well.

A&W stands for ’amburger and wootbeer...whatever. I have a job. I werk for the local school district’s maintainance department wich means I have a master key to every door in every building in the school district!! mwahahaha! it pays perty good too $15/hr to sit on my butt all day. today, pretty much all I did was get high from painting/varnishing crap. it was a good day

wow how coincidental... i just got back from my first real day at work... i work at the papa murphys take and bake pizza... it’s the second one opening in canada ... which is good cause we get to start new :D . i also get paid $8/hour... which is alot better than the legal $6.50 for 500 days then a raise...
