who here knows how to get an IP address over aim? is there a way to do with out dirct connect?

yea direct connect then go to command prompt and typ in "net view" it will show you your ip and the other persons ip

ok i did look it up myself, on RE all i got were ways to do it with a connet on aim, on google all i got were shitty programs and that dont work.

Make a site and install a counter that will record Ip’s, send them a link and then if they visit the site bam, you got it.

I have Portable Gaim and whenever I direct connect to someone, it displays their ip right there on the chat window.
Saves all the time going through the netstat thing.
