Ok, So My friend once told me that Mr. Clean magic eraser with water and soap gets off sharpie and It just so happens today I accidentally got Sharpie on my arm from placing my arm on a new drawing of mine, made with sharpie.
(Those who don’t know what a Mr. Clean Magic eraser is, here:) It’s basically a Hunk of foam. I did not, however know there are chemical cleaners and acids in it. It even contains a form of fermaldehyde (Dead people preserver)
Remembering my freinds remedy I went to the cleaning supplies cabinet. And wet the "Magic" Eraser. I then proceeded to rub the entire underside of my forearm with it. It quickly became red and the first layer of skin came off within 45 seconds of rubbing. At this point, I felt no pain at all. It was red, but the marker was still there. From here the skin came off/ burned away rather quickly. 3 minutes later, It looked like my entire forearm was crossed between being minorly chemically burned and a really bad rug-burn. And yet, It did not hurt. I sat on the couch for another 5 minutes and then it hit me. I horrible stinging pain. I ran upstairs and hopped into the shower in an attempt to wash out the cleaner, Trust me the hot water DID NOT help. Niether, did shower gel. It was throbbing hard and it stung, but I was satisfied that i got the cleaner out. It’s been about half an hour and It still hurts, I’d give you a picture, but my camera’s not working right.
Moral of the story: Don’t magically erase yourself.

I sandpapered myself like that once, exactly the same experience. Try just wrapping a lukewarm to cool wet paper towel around your arm.

well... sharpie just comes of w/ water and soap... well i mean it will come off of your skin w/ water and soap, on other materials it’s permanent... any permanent marker that gets on ur skin will come off w/ water and soap

I think that’s what his friend told him, but stupidly (it’s ok, we all fuck up some time) he thought it worked on skin too. Silly guy!

Freidns till the end! st.Jimmypyro!
No, monkeyballz, My friend told me it works on skin , but I just forgot to put soap on to neutrilize the effects of the cleaner. Technically it still took the sharpie off without soap though..... just A little bit more than I barganed for.

That’s quite an entertaining anecdote.
