Ok, well, I turned on my computer after a couple days of not using it, and i got a pop-up saying that my computer has changed drastically so i need to reactivate windows within 3 days. I would of, but i kind of got a free copy off a disk that already has been used. The way i did it was by being frusturated and i banged on the keyboard and somehow it let me in. Anyway, i proceeded to log on, and my internet was down. I made sure the hardware was still installed, checked hte main portal thing, and checked the connections, and nothing was amiss. I decided to run spybot, and it froze halfway through so i restarted my computer. This time i would look in processes and look for any unfamiliar names. I found what i beleive to be hte problem. It was titled "winlogon." With a sigh of releife i hit the end process button. But it didn’t work. I got an error message saying "This is a critical system process. Task Manager cannot end this process." I decided that since i can’t delete it, i would lower it’s priority. The priority is set at high, and if i try to change it to anything i get an error message saying "The operation could not be completed. Acess is denied." I said to myself "Oh shit." I decided to system restore, but it deleted all my restore points. It’s pretty bad. any suggestions? Oh, and i’m on my laptop, so that’s why i’m able to be on RE.

you could go to best buy and get a check up and repair for free i saw a commircal for that type of stuff today so you can do that if you cant work it

You can delete spyware right from your program files folder, it gets rid of them easily. And if you can’t delete them because its "in use" theres an egg on how to get rid of those files in use, its a program. I think highguy has the egg on it.

Jounin thanks, but around here they don’t do taht, and if you did you’d have to have some kind of warrenty. Ebil, thank you, i will try program files, but i can’t download any programs.. Internet is disabled.

Then download it on your laptop and put it in a shared file so you can access it through your other computer.

Damn, i have about 3 folders on there with pretty sketchy names, and they all say their being used..
