So, my mom likes to go garage sailing...and shes cool, so she sometimes picks up stuff for me and my little bro. She happened to pick upa very old looking police scanner, as well as an 80s/90s video camera. I was wondering, how do you work the scanner, and do u think itll even work.
Descrip:One coprd that plugs into outlet for power. two antennas on top (one long the other short
2 tuner things (volume and squelch)
2 buttons that say Scan Manual (the word scan is on top of Manual with a horizontal line dividing them). And Channel selector.
hen, theres 8 switches towars the bottom numbered one through 8, but so far, only the second one lights up when pushed.
It is painted a wood color.
My mom has the camera, so no pics :(

Oh, it says "Regency" in the middle, with a crown over the "en"
On the bottom it says ^^ MONITORADIO/EXECUTIVE SCANNER ^^
the "^^"s are what apper to b mountains.
oh, and it is about 4-5 inches tall, around a foot wide, and a lil over 6 in long.

I had one of those scanners that fit between your seet and you could piss of truckers and stuff. It smashed up in an accident(I wasnt using it) and i just havnt felt the urdge to talk to anyone while driving anymore

Whew, I remember when they were all the rage, EVERYONE had the damn things, you could by the crystals with frequencies that would tune in on your local municipal forces, or wherever you wanted within range.
People used to listen to them like you would listen to your stereo, hell I knew people who had car versions so they wouldn\’t miss anything.
Then they finally made tunable ones that didn\’t need crystals, you would just search the airwaves for whatever frequency you wanted, and just save it kinda like with a car radio.
Just another fad that came and went. Kinda like CB Radios!!

CB radios are so fun I had one when I was in elementary school and I used to piss off the truckers all the time.
