so i’m trying to make one, because all the locksmiths i went to said they dont make 101010’s or 999’s for the public. thisis what i got:
It’s the only blank key i had.
So, i know the technique, but nothing seems to be working. any help?

yea i need sum help to, i watched all the videos i could find but i still cant pic a lock or nuthin, i even watched one where a dude does it with a banana

do you have a cutting machine? if not then your makeshift bump keys will never or rarely work. you really need to use a pro cutting machine and actually know what your doin.

whats teh purpose of a bump key? ii know its for lock picking but how do you use it.

I’m pretty sure that newer locks are designed better and bump keys won’t work in any but ones that are a few years older or more, not positive but pretty sure.

I think that’s one of the reasons Hotels use cards now, there can be a master, but it can be changed in seconds making a lost bump key not a problem.
Imagine a Hotel with a lost bump/master key with hundreds of locks, it would be mighty expensive to change all of them, while now they just change the magnetic strip and it costs next to nothing.
