depends on which punctuation is frowned upon if not used. if someone forgets to put the apostrophe in don’t i wouldnt mind but anything else like spelling and correct sentences would tick me off.
i think this rule will shape our forums into a more articulate and sophisticated discussion area

and you showed your defiance to them by short posting lol. na if you honestly dont know how to spell a word then you should be curious enough to look through www.dictionary.com to find out what the spelling is.

The rule doesn’t include the post length any more. As long as it’s more than just "lol cool" or some shit.
If you’d read the de5cription of this poll you’d see that it doesn’t include the post length...
But anyway, like A2N2T says, look it up if you don’t know how to spell it. And if that fails, just run it through Word to pick up any grammatical or spelling problems.

I think he just doesn’t want ’1337 speak’ or things like: ’omg ru srs?!? lolz’ or ’I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M WRITING ANOTHER SHITTY EGG ABOUT HOW I ALWAYS USE CAPS’. Anyways, I totally agree with this, however i don’t care too much about capitalization.

I don’t think that they should go overkill, e.g, apostrophes, but I do think that people should at least take the time to actually type properly.

well in the end this whole thing is a valiant attempt to spruce up the forums, make us look alot more better in the eyes of outsiders thats are thinking of joining. if we make our comments and forums grammatically correct it will give people one less flaw to see.
i am almost 100% positive that our rivals (totse.com, prank.org) have not gone this far as to make it a rule to use correct grammer and spelling. so we can be one step ahead of everyone else and look much better.
this will be a positive improvement to the site. Good work Po:D

I always type properly, but I make typos sometimes, like typing "jsut" instead of "just".

^^^you would have made a hell of a point there if po had specified that grammar and sentance structure would be included in the new rule, but he didn’t. He only specified capital letters, apostrophes, and proper spelling.
