My freind’s unloading his pocketbike to me for $5 cause it doesn’t work. It’s one of those tiny chinese deals with a 49cc engine. I know a bit about engines so I figure I can fix it up. Does anyone have on of these? Are they shit? Should I even bother?

It seems like a good deal. However replace all of the nuts and bolts on it. Including motors mounts. The bolts are guaranteed to fall out within 2 weeks of casual riding. It definitely won’t last as long as a more high end one will but hey, 5 bucks, you can’t beat it.

My friend got his pocket bike up to 60 kilometers or about 40 miles per hour on a flat dirt road. It wouldn’t go as fast on bitumen for some reason.

well myn cost me 300 AUS$ accept if iw as you, replace all the nuts and blots like said befor, the hanndle bars are split up, so they both have diffrent nuts what tightens them to the main frame, my right handle bar, went practially loose at 70km and that was not fun, sliding across the ground at high speed.
oh and myn was 47cc and i could get it upto 80km per hour
