[rant] Ok, so its pretty much raining snow out. You can’t see the roads, I fell twice trying to walk out my door, and you can barely see any cars under this layer of white. The local college is closed, as are the surrounding counties. And are we even delayed? No, not yet. Damnit, I dont want to have to set my alarm and get up in the morning to check and see if they have closed school. We’re in a heavy snow warning, expecting up to five more inches. There is NO WAY the buses could get up a mountain on that stuff, much less on some of the winding narrow side roads around here. There was an inch of snow last week and school didn’t close, and my bus slid down a hill. Add five more inches, I’m riding to my own funeral. PLus I have an algebra 3 test that I don’t feel like taking. Fuck school boards. [/rant]

lol...well u guys got it good because they only cancle school here in the mornings...unless its like fucking white juan all over again and over half the province has no power.

Haha, the past 2 days we got off of school because of cold weather and they can’t let kids stand in negative degree weather at their bus stop.

We’ve got the last two days off. Every single person in school is surprized because our administrator (principal, guy in charge of everything) is from Alaska, so he normally blows off all the cold and snow and shit and makes us come to school anyways.

our principal is a dick that only cares about the school football team.
on the first day of snow... he cancels school.
but when it begins to snow so hard the fucking mothership comes down to earth and considers putting the world to an end, he says, "naahhhhh. they’re ages 13-18. They can handle driving uphill on icy roads at a temperature that puts absolute zero on the kelvin scale to shame."
