I like how you tried to make the poll biased by comparing an option to something,or someone, that the nubs fear.
A harder assed one would be better. Someone who knows when to stop the bullshit. I vote for "Hardass".

I think there is a time for both. If your too much of a hardass no one will like you, if your too lenient then no one will like you. So its a problem if you choose sides. Its always wise to stay in the middle :D

That’s the only option Alt, you can’t have it BOTH ways, it must be fair and across the board.
Those were the hardass Mods, who ruled with intimidation and fear, Clegg and I are the lenient ones who can realise that there are extenuating circumstances and try to work with members no matter how stupid the situation is, and maybe turn the other cheek just a bit when the situation warrants it, which do you want?

I personally believe that repeated stupidity should be a bannable offense along with repeating threads that are already created(IE: do u think i have a hawt body?, POLL: Should so-n-so be deleted, etc)

There’s ALWAYS someone who’s got a problem with something, and if EVERYONE is Banned for stupid shit on RE, you might as well close the doors, ’cause there ain’t nobody left to post.

If you don’t post in it, a post will be off the front page rather quickly and it also possible that the author will make better posts that WILL get answers.
But it’s impossible for RE members NOT to answer a stupid thread, they haven’t got the will power to let it go away.

there has to be a happy medium viper...going to the extremes won’t work, being TOO leinent would make the forums suck because of all the shit that would be there, yet being TOO harass would make them gay too, because EVERYONE would be too scared to say anything, for fear of being banned.

So, where are all these PROBLEMS you all speak of??
The Spammers are gone, even Monkeyballz has been finally silenced and permanently de-modded so as to further protect RE. Where are these insurmountable problems that only a HARDASS Mod can rid us of??
It’s been a LONG time since RE has EVER had Mods that get along, and Mods that have worked TOGETHER and with the help of 1337 members of RE kept the REAL spammers at bay!
Until now RE has NEVER had an Admin that was ACTIVE in the everyday workings of the site and with the help of active Mods and members have gotten rid of REAL Spammers of the likes of Zaxtor.
You’ve forgotten already how a REAL spammer can ruin a forum for DAYS when an Admin isn’t here to delete the accounts they are spamming with, that shit doesn’t happen anymore, I’m here everyday, and not for just a few minutes!!
Between Clegg and I we’ve got this place kept pretty clean of the REAL bullshit, so NOW you start complaining about things that ANNOY you.
Annoyances are NOT a danger to the site and YOU have the ability to ignore it, but instead you think that every annoying member should be deleted. Well, that’s just not gonna happen, if they break the rules badly enough that’s one thing, but if they just annoy someone that’s another.
Ignore members threads you think are annoying, and Block them if you must, that would pretty much take care of all of the petty shit that annoys most of you. If a member breaks the rules they will be Banned accordingly, and if the transgression is serious enough, the account will be deleted!
THAT’S how it’s done!!
