in relation to my other forum topic, and new egg

I’m trying to find a way to get this gift card to turn into cash...
The suggestions/ideas so far are :
*Sell it to a family member or someone who shops there anyways.
unfortunately, my family is anti walmart and this would look sketchy anyways
*Sell it to someone outside.
Its not worth their trouble to call and check the balance unless you sell at a considerable loss. Plus its sketchy.
*The back of the card notes that in some states it is required by law that stores provide cash exchange for giftcards.
I dont know if im in one of these states or how to find out, and i dont trust walmart employees to know/be honest with me
*Buy something legitimately and hope that they’ll give cash if you return with a receipt.
I think the receipt would note that i paid with a gift card, so they wouldnt wanna return cash. Not to mention im not sure if they ID you when you return with a reciept, if they do i dont wanna waste a return this way.
if anyone else has any ever-so-clever ideas, please, let me in on them.
and if you have not-so-clever ideas, let me know anyways.

Ok I have had this problem alot to.
I will break this down into a couple of simple steps.
1.Get the card
2.go to walmart
3.tell the cashier you know the secret phrase (im not joking)
4. the secret phrase is "walmart rocks"(I am not fucking joking.)
5. if this doesnt work tell go to a random worker and say "I have a card that needs to be cashed" they will most likely reply "code please" tell them this code - 461A4B77BD8BB000990099DDBBbbnnnWmAnnLmMarttT071244118M9898OasaasfNaaaE9o87098Y90808Returnaa9998
They will refund your gift card most likely. I know this sounds fake but it really does work dude. I am sure alot of people on here have heard of it and just didn’t want anyone to know.

It also helps to tell them a parent or guardian used to work there and thats how you know the cashback code.

DO NOT TELL THEM THAT YOUR PARENT STILL WORKS THERE. They will ask you for there name and try to intercom them. The reason I know the code is because my mom works at walmart.
