Alright, so heres pretty much the story of the biggest jackass you will probably meet. Don’t know much of the story, since I haven’t talked to my brother since it happened, only heard it from my mom. So i only know the main details.
So my brother is 21 years old. For the past week he’s been working on some kids car (like i said, I only know the main points, so i don’t know how old he is, probably about the same age) The kid needed a clutch so my brother gladly accepted, went out and bought everything needed, and started working on it.
A couple days later he finishes, and lets the kid know. What does the jackass do? He decides he’s not going to pay my brother for putting a brand new clutch in his car for him. Just gonna go get his car and take off and not have to worry about it ever again.
This is where it gets vauge, since i only know what generally happened.
The kid somehow got the keys from my brother without paying. (I’m sure they fought over the keys a little, my brother wouldn’t just hand them over) The kid took off, and my brother follows. He wants his money, whats wrong with that?
They get to the kids house, and lo and behold he has friends there. My brother starts bitching because he wants his money, but what happens? He gets jumped buy a couple guys and gets his ass kicked. Thats not all.
The fucker that got his car fixed, now for free, got in his car and ran my brother over. His leg is now broken and three places.
What kind of jackass gets his car fixed, DOESN’T pay for it, and then runs over and breaks the guy’s leg that fixed his god damn car?
I personally think he’s getting a few bricks thrown through his windows, if the cops don’t already arrest him, or if my brothers friends don’t go and kick his ass hardcore.

Thats really gay of them. You should beat the fuck out of the car, him, and his house.
The thing is, your brother might not have proof that they stole the car back after the upgrade. If he stole the car back, he could be charged.

Well apparently my brother called the cops right then and there, so the cops got there and he was sitting in the kids yard with a broken leg.
My mom said he’s probably going to get a big fine, or jail time, and we might sue them.
I still wanna throw some bricks, because that’s just gay.

That’s why you ALWAYS have ANYBODY sign a "mechanics lien" clause, along with other disclaimers so that this cannot happen. The guy very well could have gotten away scot-free if it weren’t for the assault charges he’ll now be facing.

If you figure a Lawsuit is going to be in the mix, I wouldn’t be screwing around by fuckin’ up his house, that might mess up your chances of fuckin’ him over with the law!!

And be just as big of a jackass? Dont be a pussy and fuck with his house unless you’re going to really do something. I suggest lighting it on fire, or brutally beating ALL of their asses till they bleed out of their ears.

Verbal contracts usually carry no creedance unless the agreement was (and still is) verifiable with an unbiased party. And even then, most courts will here it as evidence, but may rule that it cannot be submitted anyway, because paper is cheap nowadays.

Damn, you could either end it quick by "taking the law into your hands" or you can wait it out and let the US court system take care of this.
Instant gratification? He should sue the shit out him. I would prefer the more violent one because it makes it seem as if I did something to better the situation, but instead, only worsened it.
