Im thinking of "stealing" an 81 Honda Accord. Its my uncles car and it has been sitting around in his yard for a while. So i have decided i was gonna take it from him since he wasnt gonna mess with it. But what i really want to do is put in a new motor or something. And my question is i need to know how much a motor costs. I think its either an EK1 or just an EK. I dont know much about these cars so if any body could, give me some good info about this car. Thanks

All I know is that I had a 91 accord that used to be my friends. It got stolen twice from his driveway. Than I bought it and move to a different town. It got stolen two more times...Hondas suck ass, but if you want to steal it, I learned this from a cop, take any honda key and file it down some, and you have a master key to almost all hondas(old ones of course)you can also start the egnition with a screwdriver.

Hondas are popular with thieves because, while Honda automobiles are common, replacement parts are scarce, and therefore expensive. You can’t buy parts for Hondas in the same greasy auto parts store that stocks carburetor floats for your 1977 El Camino. Therefore, the replacement engine would be prohibitively expensive. If you must steal a Honda, get one that runs.
