The Feminist cause arose in the mid 1960s. A call came to women to do their duties as women to abandon their families and fight for equality. This battle cry came after women had fought and won the right to vote, leaving them to ponder what else the men have been holding out from them.
The women now see men in general as their “oppressors” trying to keep them down and stop them from getting “their share”.
The feminist cause was incited nearly forty years after their largest accomplishment, winning the write to vote. The feminists were not, themselves, responsible for women’s suffrage, however they do take credit for the tremendous achievement. They take credit because, in the early days, feminists needed a magnet to attract new members, so they would have some influence in the way the common man, pardon me, citizen ( a gender-neutral term), thought about women’s rights.
The credibility of feminism has been reduced by it’s portrayal in Hollywood’s moving pictures. Feminists are often portrayed as man-hating lesbians who have mullets and are extreme and have views bordering on fascism. This is how the common person views all feminists. However inaccurate it may be, stereotypes have to come from somewhere. The truth is there are feminists who happen to be lesbian fascists whose favorite haircut is the mullet. The phrase most commonly associated with feminism is “we don’t need men” or “we’re not your slaves”, both of which are untrue. If women “didn’t need men” they would fail to exist. If women are not meant to be subordinates of men, then the bible is wrong. That’s right, the book people live their lives by is wrong. Does it not say in Genesis 2:21, “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep upon Adam, and he slept: and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man”. Doesn’t this mean that women come from the rib of men, and they were brought to men, not “women were brought to enslave men”, nor “women were brought to nag men”, not even “women were brought to be men’s equal”. If the feminists are not religious, the constitution is against them. “All men are created equal” since humans are not asexual; there are two genders, men and women. Sure women can say whatever they please under the first amendment, but that doesn’t mean it’s their right to be equal to men.
The alleged equality feminists fight for is not equality as it is supremacy. Women are equal to men, but they think men are jealous of the fact women are better. There is no evidence of women being biologically better. The feminists say women can harbor life inside of them, making them better. In fact, because women are able to be pregnant, it makes them slower, exhausted, and they lose the ability to defend themselves- well. Women are designed for beauty. Men are designed to be practical and tactical. Men are built to survive and protect women, to protect the species.
Feminists preach their philosophies to young children, imprinting the belief that women are treated unjustly so that the children will believe it. that is a very effective strategy, it is used all the time, in fascist totalitarian states, like Nazi Germany. The children were taught that they should believe what Der Fϋhrer said, do what Der Fϋhrer told them to do. That metaphor is not meant to compare feminists to Hitler, nor the Nazi party, it is meant to compare the brainwashing used by the Nazis to the brainwashing used by the feminists. Men however cannot teach children about Masculinism to children. For all those who do not know what masculinism is, that is most likely because it has been oppressed under the pretenses it is “counterrevolutionary”. Masculinism is a collection of ideologies that seek support for men; change of the male gender roll; and men’s rights in regard to marriage, abortion, and domestic violence towards men. Let it be known that masculinism ≠ chauvinism.
Feminists define themselves as “anyone who recognizes the equality and full humanity of women and men” that particular quote is from 1974, and nowadays, there is no debate that women are politically and ethically equal, however, recently feminists have been going for the jugular of every man. Children aren’t even spared, boys are taught not to hit girls, but girls can hit boys because they are “trying to be equal”.
Some feminists state publicly that they are not attempting to belittle men’s roles in society, however some feminists believe that they should, in fact, belittle men’s roles. Valerie Solanas said, “Life in this society being, at best, an utter bore and no aspect of society being at all relevant to women, there remains to civic-minded, responsible, thrill-seeking females only to overthrow the government, eliminate the money system, institute complete automation and destroy the male sex”
These “civic-minded, responsible, thrill-seeking females” are feminists. The grandmother to Feminism, Susan B. Anthony, said this about women’s rights, “Women: their rights, and nothing less; Men: their rights, and nothing more.” This means that men and women should be equal but their quality of life should stay same, and never improve.
Men, nowadays, have seen the light and decided that they can no longer write this injustice to mankind off as “PMS”. These same men are vary vocal about their beliefs on feminism. Mr. Pat Robinson had this to say about feminism, “The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians.” now keep in mind that Pat Robinson is a member of the Christian Coalition, and said this in front of the leaders of the free world in 1992. Pat Robinson also has said this about feminism: “if you get married, you have accepted the headship of a man, your husband. Christ is the head of the household and the husband is the head of the wife, and that’s the way it is, period.” Radio personality, Rush Limbaugh states, “Feminism was established to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society.” The 700 club’s Pat Buchanan said, “Rail as they will about ’discrimination,’ women are simply not endowed by nature with the same measures of single-minded ambition and the will to succeed in the fiercely competitive world of Western capitalism.” However some people have a more militant view about feminists. An old Afghani proverb goes: “If you see an old man, sit down and take a lesson; if you see an old woman, throw a stone.”
The bottom line: feminism, over time, has picked up beliefs of fascism and communism. Both fascism and communism are anti-American. Although there is no law against feminism, because of the first amendment, which doesn’t apply to women, there should be. Feminism is a corrosive acid which is eating away at the moral fiber of America. We need to get Feminism out of America. Period.

America is a fascist piece of crap and you know it. All that bullshit about Freedom and Liberty? All that crap about "pledging allegiance to the flag"?All those damn marine commercials that even us CANADIANS get on the television screen 4 times a commercial break? How does equalizing both sexes tie in with fascism? Just because the word "equality" is thrown in, you make up some bullshit about the reds.
Do you know what they make women wear in Afghanistan? What kind of dumbass cites a quote from a proverb from a society that:
-Does not allow 90% of women to work
- Forces them to cover themselves when leaving the home (under strict curfew)
- Does not allow girls to go to school
If you’re trying to find reliable sources (with fair and just quotes) you failed miserably.
You need to learn how to write an essay dude, it’s nothing like posting an informal report like it is on RE.

Are you shitting me? Your English teacher is going to eat you alive. Bringing up bible references and saying that women are meant to be slaves of men? Bitch, please. Someone has a superiority complex.
I scoff at the feminist movement as well, simply because Women are more than equal in todays society. Censorship and sexual harassment lawsuits are complete bullshit to me, but counter-attacking by quoteing the bible won’t win you any cookies bro.

Oh, and not everyone believes in the Bible, so it would be wrong to use it as a reference or saying the Bible is wrong if you believe in a certain way.
What I infer from that, is that people who do that expect us to believe in what they do, God.

Jesus, I had a feminist teacher in junior high. Ever since then, I have a staunch hate against feminists. If I were a teacher, id give this paper 5* and faves.
I wrote an assignment on Feminism the other day...
Here it is:
Today in Australia, women enjoy equal rights to men in many areas of social, political and economic matters. The relationship between the male and female genders has changed dramatically over the past century as a result of the efforts of a few brave women who dared to challenge the thinking of the time and demand improved conditions for women. Only one hundred years ago it was still lawful for a man to beat his wife “so long as he does not use a stick thicker than his thumb!” Cadden, R., (http://www.slsa.sa.gov.au/women and_politics/suffr7.htm, 28.04.2007)
The relationship between men and women is collectively known as “Gender Relations” or the relationship between the two sexes. “Gender” is defined by MSN Encarta Dictionary as “somebody’s sex: the sex of a person or organism, or of a whole category of people or organisms.”(http://www.msn.encarta.com, 28.04.2007) “Relations” is defined by MSN Encarta Dictionary as “a connection between things: a meaningful connection or association between two or more things, e.g. one based on the similarity or relevance of one thing to another.”(http://www.msn.encarta.com, 28.04.2007) Therefore the term “Gender Relations” can be defined as “the meaningful connection or association between men and women.
The way men and women interact and relate to the opposite sex began to change around the late 19th century. The transition to the state of gender relations that we have today can be categorised into three waves of feminism: the First Wave- “Shrieking Sisterhood”, the Second Wave- “Women’s Liberation Era” and the Third Wave- “The Glass Ceiling”. Cadden, R., (http://www.slsa.sa.gov.au/women and_politics/suffr7.htm, 28.04.2007)
From the late 19th Century, to the early 20th, women all around the world were fighting for the right to vote, this time period has been described as the ‘First Wave’ or ‘The Shrieking Sisterhood’. Wealthy women who stayed at home, average women who worked in factories and poor women who lived on the streets, all fought together for this right that today many people take for granted. These women became known as “Suffragettes” due to the fact that they were fighting for “Suffrage” otherwise known as the right to vote. Hoepper, B., et al. (1996) Inquiry 2-A Source Based Approach To Modern History, Milton, QLD: Wiley & Sons. As protests became more frequent, violent and daring, more and more ‘suffragettes’ were being harassed, arrested or even killed. Finally, the women of Australia won the right to ‘have a say’ in what happens to their county, their home.
The early 1960s to the late 1980s is described as the ‘Second Wave’ or ‘Women’s Liberation Era’, and dealt with the inequality of laws as well as unofficial inequalities.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_feminism, 28.04.2007)During the fifty years prior to the second wave, after women gained the right to vote, not much happened. The spark that ignited the second wave of feminism was the fact that women were not paid equally to men. This however, was only the tip of the iceberg. Even in 1950, women around the world were not considered important enough to have a proper education. Without a proper education, women could not go into the workforce and earn as much money as men. Between 1970 and 1990 a many laws were passed in order for women to have the right to run for election, to have a proper education and for women to have equal career opportunities as their male counterparts. As the women who first gained an education were heading off to university, universities all over Australia were implementing new non-sexist ‘women’s studies’ classes. Cadden, R., (http://www.slsa.sa.gov.au/women and_politics/suffr7.htm, 28.04.2007)
From the late 1990s to today is described as the ‘Third Wave’ or ‘The Glass Ceiling’ and is a continuation of the second wave, but is a response to the perceived failures of the second wave. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_feminism, 28.04.2007) Officially women now had the right to vote, the right to have an education and the right to have equal career opportunities as men, however as women climbed the corporate ladders within the large businesses which hired them, it became harder and harder for them to be promoted to senior positions. This is described as ‘The Glass Ceiling’ phenomenon. As men had had the upper hand for so long, they did not feel secure in allowing a female to be on the same ‘level’ as them, so men in positions of power did not promote women as readily as they would a man. Anti-discrimination laws have been introduced in an effort to eliminate this problem.
In Australia today, women have equal rights to men in many areas of social, political and economic matters. The relationship between males and females has changed dramatically over the past century as a product of the efforts of the three ‘waves’ of the feminist movement resulting in many changes in our lives today.
Australian women today are well educated and employed in many senior positions and enjoy the right to vote in our country’s elections. Some of the changes that have occurred in our daily lives as a result of these improved conditions and opportunities for the women of the 21st century include factors such as working mothers who no longer stay at home to care for their children and make home cooked meals. The child care industry and fast food industry have been born from this change in family life. Some people may argue that the obesity epidemic and the social problems that many children experience today are a result of women no longer being at home. Some of these changes have been for the better however some have resulted in unexpected changes. (See Appendix 1.)
Women working and earning their own money are spending their earnings on different things than a traditional single income family might have in the 1950s for example. Families are now wealthier with both parents working and living conditions have improved however the issue of the domestic division of labour in the home continues. (Baxter, J., http://www.uqsrc.uq.edu.au/index.html?page=22565&pid=0, 28.04.2007)
In the search for equality some feminists have become extremely zealous in their campaign (Lehmann, M., (2004) http://www.australiannews.com.au/anti_male .htm, 28.04.2007) with the result that some males believe that feminists are creating an anti-male world. “University texts have become feminised and anti-male… and that the reasons for wars is the innately violent nature of men. American sitcoms are filled with images of bumbling males who constantly need assistance from smart, smug females.” The feminist movement has continued to address inequalities in literature, language and legislation and has been behind the move to change from terminology such as “Chairman” to “Chairperson” etcetera.
“Feminists have lobbied government agencies designed to advance the cause of radical feminism at the expense of men. Male taxpayers are funding government bureaucracies such as the Office for Women’s Interests and the Sex Discrimination Commission while there is not one agency for men’s interests.” (Lehmann, M., (2004) http://www.australian-news.com.au/anti_male.htm, 28.04.2007)
Feminism, suffrage and employment for women have all had a lasting impact on gender relations in Australia and many countries of the world. We in Australia are fortunate to benefit from many of the gains made by the courageous and determined women of the last century however also continue to contend with some of the unintended ramifications. Many countries of the world are just beginning this journey such as the United Arab Emirates who only granted Suffrage to their women in 2006.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_women’s_suffrage, 28.04.2007)
