I was at work today (subway resturant) and this lady says to me:
(her)- so we were wondering, whats that chicken & bacon ranch sandwich?
(me) - well it’s basically just chicken, bacon, and ranch dressing, all on the sandwich together.
(her)- oh well, I’ll just get the club sandwich then.
what are some stupid questions that you have heard (or even asked) lately? or you can make one up.

When rolling steel or other metal into sheets, you pass it through a series of rolls, each with a smaller gap than the last, until you reach the desired thickness. Then, it is coiled on a roll. One can only roll the metal so fast, because if you go too fast, the roll stands begin to vibrate, which ruins the smooth surface of the metal.
I worked for a company that makes an inflatable wear liner, which has the effect of damping the vibration. Then, you can roll the metal 20 percent faster. At leat that’s what we told one client, an aluminum mill.
One of their managers was dead-set against the project, as we usually charge about $200,000 for this thing. When we said he could roll 20 percent more aluminum in the same amount of time, his response was:
"What are we going to do with 20 percent more product?"
I wanted to tell him, "Shove it up your puckered asshole!" But I didn’t. (Aluminum’s expensive these days; I’d sell it and count my money.)

By the way, aluminum foil is always rolled two sheets at a time through its final roll. Picture a clothes wringer, with two sheets of foil coming out, then being wound on the cardboard tubes you see in the boxes. The shiny side is the side of the foil that’s touching the steel roll, and the dull side is the side that’s touching the other sheet of aluminum. That’s why aluminum foil has a shiny side and a dull side, and why it doesn’t matter which side you use in any application.
