Ok so ive just started building a guitar, well.. not started, i started over a year ago and just threw it under my bed lol..
Ive got a nice thick slab of blackwood, and a LP style neck with mother-o-pearl trapezoid inlays.
Any ideas on quality hardware, on a limited budget. Ive got 700 Australian dollars.
Im looking for a Hot-wound bridge position Bucker, and a warm single pickup for the neck position, A full-floating trem, and i Have no idea on what defines good quality Machine heads.

Ive built a few guitars, though I build pickups and necks from scratch as well. I suggest Gotoh for tuning heads, and if your really going to go with a tremelo system Floyde Rose is really the only true floating system, with the locking nut. But it would probably be hard to fit a floyde rose system on a gibson scale neck, if you went to a fender scale, or even a 25’ scale like a PRS, you could get away with it. But with gibson scale i’d suggest something like a Bigsby rig, or if you don’t like that there are a lot of fender knockoff floating bridges that work great.
Check Stewart Macdonald, it’s where i buy parts. Don’t forget a truss rod

Oh, and as far as Pickups go, I’d ebay em. Mighty Mite makes some great fender knockoffs, while Wilderberry Castle(just search it up) makes execelent PAF clones. Of course, you could just ebay DiMarzio for like, a PAF Joe for the bridge and an Edge Pro for the neck. My favorites are the Seymor Duncan Pearly Gates and Double Hotrail
