CaCl2 + KCl ---> CaK + Cl2 ???
seeing as
CaCl2 + KCl ---> CaCl2 + KCl doesnt really look different
It’s looking like if you combine them... not much will happen
Chlorine won’t react with chlorine and calcium wont react with potassium
but if something does happen and chlorine gas emits... well... i guess have a goodbye note on you as well
chlorine gas was used by the filthy nazis to kill off the amedicanz

try having another non-metal chemical in there
but seriously... the chlorine will most likely turn into gas in a reaction
if you’re still going through... either wear a mask
or pee on a cloth and breathe into it

Well.. they arent very useful, but calcium chloride heats up, really hot when its wet. Potassium chloride could be electrolysed to make pure potassium metal.

really?
I didnt think anything would really happen
They’re both ionic compounds that include chlorine
and since 2 metals don’t react and cholrine doesnt react with itself
what would make it react?
are these both liquids?

Save it for the winter, and sprinkle it on icy pavement, preferably after you sweep or shovel the loose snow away. It goes snap, crackle, pop! Then you have a dry piece of pavement that’s safe for walking or driving.
