....for a ten day trip to Seattle for meetings and bullshit...

...when some drunk wrapped his car around a utility post, bringing it crashing to the Earth, and took out the electricity on my street! That left me with a pile of dirty clothes, some wet clothes in the dryer (which I have not modified to set the clothes on fire), and no clean clothes to pack before I leave Tuesday afternoon.

If I were superstitious, this would be a bad omen. Since I’m not, I packed my dirty laundry in one suitcase, my wet laundry in another, and took it all to my mother’s place, where the electricity is still working.

So if anyone notices I’m absent the rest of the month, I haven’t left; I’m just travelling.

Who do you think drinks Corona, Tecate, Dos Equis? It’s cheaper, as there’s been a worldwide agave shortage for several years.
