So... two nights ago we had a huge storm here. My computer worked fine and I left it on when I went to bed. I woke up in the morning and restarted it because the internet wasn’t working, and now the motherfucker won’t start up. All it does when you hit the power is make the fan noise.

A similar thing happened a few months ago, and I had to replace the power supply for about $90.

But the computer is from like 3-4 years ago ( a dell) I have aroun $500 dollars from my birthday, should I just buy a new comp? And if so what kind?

Meh, doesn’t that work out to more money? And I would have no idea what parts to buy. I guess I could ask my friend to help me but he fixes my computer every time is freakin’ breaks so I feel bad asking him

You can build a $2,000 dollar computer for maybe $1,400 or less. Build one, you can put whatever you want in it =D
