Well for some reason on an account on my computer, it has changed back to windows classic. I right clicked on desktop then I went to Personalize but when I click theme it says this
C:\\Windows\\System32\\rundll.exe
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations in control panel.
Well I have no idea what to do. I’ve finally realized vista wasn’t as good as it sounded for me. Does anyone know how I can fix this error, it has also come up on other things I try to access, i’ve accessed themes in the past (8 days). Any help would be grateful thanks.

No nothing major but just really annoying. Well I made the account last night but didn’t log on to it but when I went on this morning it was Windows Classic. I dunno. Well im on the main admin account now because I get fucked off with the other accounts not letting me do stuff.
Oh and something else, when I try to install Wolfenstein the installer doesn’t do anything. Any help, thanks.

Get a kill disk. Uninstall Vista. Buy/warez XP. Install it. Get Vista once SP1 comes out.

There’s a website that has hundreds of .dll files you can download, I’ll try to find it.
I’m running Vista, and I’ve never had a problem.
You probably just accidentally deleted it.

Google tells me that rundll.exe is a backdoor trojan.
You’re infected.

I have Vista, and it’s great.
I’ve had no problems whatsoever.
Jammy’s having problems because he’s infected with a trojan virus.

Quote: Recommendation :
First, note that RUNDLL.EXE only exists in Windows 95/98/ME, it does not exist in Windows 2000/XP/2003 – its path is C:\\Windows\\Rundll.exe as shown on the Tasks tab of The Ultimate Troubleshooter; anything else and you have a virus (see below). RUNDLL and RUNDLL32 do not normally appear in the Task List in Windows. In our experience they tend to appear only when you are already having problems of some sort with your PC, or a particular DLL is either misbehaving, is buggy, or is having problems, such as a Control Panel applet hanging for example. If you see RUNDLL or RUNDLL32 in your Task List persistently then you should be [slightly] worried (see below the other entry for RUNDLL32) – make sure you have good and up‑to‑date antivirus software, boot into Safe Mode, and run a full virus scan on your PC. If you do not have a virus and see either in your Task List, simply leave it alone. We are not sure as to the other times when the real RUNDLL or RUNDLL32 can sometimes suddenly appear in the Task List, but you should leave them alone in most cases provided, again, that you know you do not have a virus.

De5cription:
rundll32.exe is a process which executes DLL’s and places their libraries into the memory, so they can be used more efficiently by applications. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

I have this game that I can’t run in Vista because it needs to add a new directory, and vista doesn’t allow it unless i’m and admin, and I am an admin.
What to do, what to do?
