Quote: 2. Once the tire is ready for inflating, clean the tire bead, (the area that will be in contact with the metal rim) and remove all dirt. In order to inflate the tire you must line up the tire bead and press it tightly against the rim.
3. Apply a small amount of grease or petroleum jelly on the bead to assist in the bonding process.
4. Wrap a tie down around the center of the tire tread and start to cinch up until the bead presses up against the rim
5. Inflate the tire using a compressor (found at a gas station), or a small compressor that plugs into your cigarette lighter. A hand pump may not have the PSI required but a foot pump should.

There’s this one product i use on my bike tires when the flatten out. I can’t remember the name of it, but it file the tire with foam, and expands. You can probably find it at Wal-Mart, or some other place like that.

c0w_tipp3r has the idea, or FtFk’s idea too, if you can find the product.

Do you have a compressor and a blowgun? The way I do it is lube the beads with soap, then take the blowgun and shoot air into the tire at the bead. This causes the tire to puff up, and once the bead touches the rim, it should hold. Then quickly switch from blowgun to air chuck. Air it up... Done.
They use 5 gallon air tanks the same way in tire shops. The tank gets filled to between 45 and 100 psi, and there’s a 2" pipe with a flat funnel on the end. They put the funnel up to the bead, and open the valve in the 2" pipe, and *fooomp*... Beads set to be seated.
A dangerous way to do it is to spray a flammable fluid into the tire and light it. I’ve done it with deodorant. Just use a very small amount. Light it with a BBQ lighter. *WARNING* If you spray too much deodorant, the tire may ~EXPLODE~. Be careful.
