K so here I have my 100% pure sodium nitrate, so I mix it with sodium benzoate to make an orange flare. As seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yP6IHaaeGc So I mix the two very well, compact it and light it with a torch. Guess what? Nothing happens! It just started to bubble and it didnt work. What is wrong with it? It is 100% pure. And so is the sodium benzoate.

I had to figure out how to make my own rocket fuel so it would explode the rocket after the thrust phase. And look I’m not a pyro king, so suck it up, and figure it out.

Sodium nitrate is extremely hygroscopic. Wet shit doesn’t burn. Fuck, no wonder your name is Pyro King! Doing all this hardcore controversial frontier shit like burning water...

Maybe you have the wrong proportions of chemicals? I sometimes get that if I have too much oxidizer compared to the fuel. But I’ve never tried sodium nitrate before.

Actually, Po, I have sodium nitrate, and being in philly were the humidity is as bad as the temp, it survives. Its usually 60% here, adn 90F, or like 32C and my sodium nitrate stars survive, and ignite with no prime. I hope it stays taht way.
