apple came out with a new ipod, and i think its cool but... im gonna wait 4 months before i cough up $400 honestly whats apple thinking $300 for 8gb, thats NOT ENOUGH SPACE and the $400 is only 16 gb, therefore i’m waiting until they come out with a better storage capacity, and battery life(even though its ass kickin’)its just the gadget i was looking for, but not quite there it could use a few more features although i think wifi is SICK for an ipod...

It will be obsolete in a matter of months, not to mention they will be bigger peices of shit than the Iphone.
And why are you bitching about the size? Its not like you are going to listen to all 5000 or whatever songs on a regular bases. I have 100 songs on my $30 MP3 player (from walmart, outperforms the ’ipod’ in all aspects, IMO), and that keeps me content. Sure i could by a 4 gig SD card, but its not necesary.

They also lowered the price of iPhone to 400 too. And the new nano can play videos, I believe. But don’t worry the screen is almost as big as the iPod video.

The only reason I would ever buy the new iPod is for Internet. Besides that, $400 for 16 gigs of space? BULLSHIT!
Also, the new nanos are fat and short. It’s like a rectangle with Down Syndrome.
The only good thing Apple has done with anything is the price drop for the iPhone today or yesterday, and, people who bought the phone before the price drop are getting $100 gift certificate towards any product at any Apple Store.
Besides that, it’s not that I don’t hate Apple, I just can’t stand the fucking iPods/iPhone/ anything with the lowercase "i" in the front of it. It’s terrible marketing, yet, people still buy their shit and think it’s the best and are horrible elitists when it comes to those products.

Theyve had the technology to make something like the new nano ever since the 2nd nano came out. Theyre just releasing all this "new technology" at intervals of like, 2 years away from eachother to make as much money as possible.
At least with Micro$oft, you know that theyre actually developing the technology, as it took a while between XP and Vista (though Vista has some serious flaws).
Apple has all the new technology, as unbelievable as that sounds, because it doesnt take 2 years to shrink down a nano, put in a battery that lasts 2 times as long, and plays video.

i have something better than an mp3 player, though i have a creative zen touch, i also have a palm TX... headphone jack, speaker, ability to play music and video, SD card slot... it’s awesome... i can put music on the SD card, play it from the PocketTunes application that’s included, and play a game at the same time... if i wanted, i could get multiple SD cards and put different music on them, and switch them whenever i wanted... i love that thing... it’s the best

I put videos on my iPod for the purpose of having something to do while im in the car, or waiting in front of a casino, waiting after a test, etc.
