I found a box of trioxane fuel tablets at a surplus store for a really low price today, does anyone know is there any pryotechnic use for trioxane fuel tablets at all? They seems to be a very good fuel.
So far my search of the net has found almost nothing besides that is really cheap and releases deadly gases when burned.

If you take a tablet and grind it up into dust and sprinkle it over a fire it makes a cool woof of fire.......thats it.

Lol the dust idea over the fire sounds pretty cool.

But ive never heard of them before.

Do they react with anything? Such as a type of acid?

they come in boxes of three. each box costs 79cents. The tablets look like giant pills, 1/4" thick and about 2" long.
They can be bought at any camping, sporting goods, and several gunstores.
I got two boxes of this stuff.
