Alright, my dumbfuck friend who i told NOT to inhale any chlorine gas from the chlorine bomb we made is a fucking idiot and ran through the cloud of gas. Source: half cup gasoline, half chlorine tablet. Symptoms: puking, upset stomache, and sayin he isnt able to walk straight.
alright, he walked through a pretty thick cloud. he was clearly conscious after being hit by the cloud. is he gonna live? will his condition improve? what should i do. please, no "haha ur fucked" bullshit, i just wanna know whats gonna happen to my idiot of a friend.

He’ll probably live. But it’s not god for the body at all.
Get him to the hospital.

Quote: * Leave the area where the chlorine was released and get to fresh air. Quickly moving to an area where fresh air is available is highly effective in reducing exposure to chlorine.
o If the chlorine release was outdoors, move away from the area where the chlorine was released. Go to the highest ground possible, because chlorine is heavier than air and will sink to low-lying areas.
o If the chlorine release was indoors, get out of the building.
* If you think you may have been exposed, remove your clothing, rapidly wash your entire body with soap and water, and get medical care as quickly as possible.
* Removing and disposing of clothing:
o Quickly take off clothing that has liquid chlorine on it. Any clothing that has to be pulled over the head should be cut off the body instead of pulled over the head. If possible, seal the clothing in a plastic bag. Then seal the first plastic bag in a second plastic bag. Removing and sealing the clothing in this way will help protect you and other people from any chemicals that might be on your clothes.
o If you placed your clothes in plastic bags, inform either the local or state health department or emergency personnel upon their arrival. Do not handle the plastic bags.
o If you are helping other people remove their clothing, try to avoid touching any contaminated areas, and remove the clothing as quickly as possible.
* Washing the body:
o As quickly as possible, wash your entire body with large amounts of soap and water. Washing with soap and water will help protect people from any chemicals on their bodies.
o If your eyes are burning or your vision is blurred, rinse your eyes with plain water for 10 to 15 minutes. If you wear contacts, remove them before rinsing your eyes, and place them in the bags with the contaminated clothing. Do not put the contacts back in your eyes. You should dispose of them even if you do not wear disposable contacts. If you wear eyeglasses, wash them with soap and water. You can put the eyeglasses back on after you wash them.
* If you have ingested (swallowed) chlorine, do not induce vomiting or drink fluids.
* Seek medical attention right away. Dial 911 and explain what has happened.

alright, he recovered from the poisoning. today , after taking a hole huff of gas yesterday, he is somewhat fine. he has a strong weezing-type cough, but not hardcore weezing. Hes talkign fine, says he feels fine. is the poisoning over? it has been already 18 hours since it happened, so im guessing hes not getting pulmonary enema. i just wanna make sure the effects wont lead to death.

Uhh, I’ve breathed in Cl2 before, it just burns, and makes you want to cough badly, its like taking a huge hit when youve never smoked before. You will feel chest tightness, and as if you cant breath fully, none of the shit he has. But, chlorine is only toxic if you breathe it for a few minutes, but you will get sick from breathing a few lung fulls. Just like most poisonous gases.
The hospital cant really do anything, hes most likely over reacting. He panicked, threw up, and thought he cant walk straight, causing him not to, placebo effect.

next time chlorine gas is heading your way
piss on a rag and breathe through it
and by reading your little story, you make it seem as if you were also close to the exposed chlorine gas.
1) I call bs
and 2) if you don’t know how to deal with chemicals... then DON’T deal with them at all. Chlorine gas shouldn’t be released in an uncontrolled environment. Not only is your friend an idiot, but everyone else that was part of this experiment is lacking some logic as well.

so bassically, even though he inhaled a big mist of the gas, passed out, and vommitted, he will be okay? hes been fine the last few days, so does that meen no more shit will happen from it, and the chlorine is gone from his lungs?
