I’m in the marching band, I play bass drum, and for our last show I want to do something sweet. I wanted to light myself on fire, but that would be way too dangerous, and I wanted to light my drum on fire but I don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars for a new one. Anyone have any suggestions for something sweet I could do that would most likely involve fire? I was thinking of just making a 06 out of wood, and covering it with a "napalm" mixture, and lighting that on fire, but I don’t think that would be cool enough. Anyone have any serious suggestions?

you could proboly set the rim of the drum on fire with some of that stuff they put on actors when they are doing a fire scene. Just keep the fire away from the drum head, dont want it melting

Dude i play bass drum in the marching band. Our season is over though. So i guess i playED it. I wanna go for quads next year.

Quads own, I’ve played them here and there for occasional games. But I’m a senior and our last game is a week from saturday, and I wanna light something on fire.

i play snare.....light ur hat on fire....
and the drumsticks (only the tip.....and i dont think the fir would go on the drum head cause naplan sticks so it might stay on the stick
like the rim on fire....just put it on the sides ....if its wood fuck it....
or be evil genius and drill a 1/8in hole straight threw the drum stick long ways and put like a little cap on the tip of the head and fill the inside with gas......then get another cap and cover the other end. make sure the front cap cap go inside the hole u drilled.....and the cap on the back to be able to take off when u want

in the middle on the play just take off the back cap and put a lighter up to one end and blow really hard.......the gas should shoot out making a fire???

Yeah, that was like a week ago. Now we’re getting closer and if I’m actually gonna do something, I need to plan it out. Alright. I in response to the mexican, I wear a beret (SO gay), so I can’t really light it on fire. I could light the sticks on fire perfectly, cause the tips are felt, but I don’t wanna just do that. The rim is wood so I can’t light that. And I cant fill it with gas because there’s holes all around it. I have like 3 mammoth smokes left from the summer. I could throw those in the mix somehow. But seriously people, I need some ideas.
