ok so last night i got one of those lighter that have that spark thing so i could make a small potato gun.
i took it out ,[spark thing], and now it will not spark. if my finger is by it it will spark me.should i go and get another one? it is one from a dollar store. it has one wire.what to do

Get a grill igniter for $5, it’s easier to seal, and lasts much longer.

You said you knew what you were doing, so what is the problem here. i am not really into making those anyway, so it is really up to you if you want to spent another whole dollar.....
