How the fuck do you use voice chat on Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 on xbox live? I have the headset hooked up and shit but nothing happens...I know that other people have headsets because i see the symbol thing. THXXX Seckz.

Enable it by pressing the button to turn the headset on.
Speak into it.
Sometimes games have a key you need to push and then you start talking, like a Walkie-Talkie (or however you spell it)

Maybe you need to set the settings in the Xbox Live menu?
I dunno, is it for the 360 or the original Xbox?
Cause for the original you only needed to plug it in, turn it on and speak into it. No walkie-talkie button

Make sure in your personal settings that "Hear through headset and speakers" is checked.

Sometimes with the 360 there are certain "Family Settings" that disable features like chat. You have to go into your dashboard and enable that stuff.

I’m too lazy to turn on the Xbox, but go to your dashboard and go all the way to the right to a screen with a purple background. Scroll down to family settings and choose what you want to change.
