a) Because i fucking can.

d) Because.
there’s just to many fucking people that run around this site and ruin it for members who have pretty much raised the site. This website has the potential, and we have members with some amazing talent, dodge has image manipulation, Keiser can con someone blind, gmt, well no. He has no super power. Alle could do just about anything aquatic, AE is amazingly smart, pentium is brilliant (and oh so explosive) but none the less brilliant, We have ballsy members here, More brawn than brain, but still in there. We have members running breweries from their basements and members building computers in their basements. This site isn’t full of retards.
But the general population that posts, are. And it’s pathetic how this site used to be so fucking amazing, then came crashing around our ears. Realize that just about every week theres another thread about some big member that everyone that has been on the site for more than a month knows quitting? Our active members Clegg, AE, etc. Those were the biggest members when i first joined, when i lurked in R2, But now, I don’t see more than a few familiar names, and members with half a brain barely show there face in here anymore. Because of the stupidity you’ve all managed to fill it with.
you load your post with things from other sites, and do nothing but demeen this sites, non-existing originality, basically, we’re the fucking bucket that catches the run off of other sites. That’s all this site is worth right about now. I mean come on, How often do you see anything worth while here? Never. I refreshed the page over and over for 10 minutes and saw one new post. wooo.
This site is dead, Dead to me at least, That’s why I’m leaving. I’ll still lurk. But don’t expect me to be a member or anything affiliated here.

The site to me declined after people found out how easy it was to spam the forums, and since some of the spam attacks have gone on for days, that’s another factor of what drove people to quit this site. I’ve come back on school nights being that it’s Winter and since I don’t do Winter sports, I usually don’t hang out with my friends until the weekend.

I’m sorry to see you, yet another great member and contribution to this site go. I don’t give a shit what anyone else says because you were a good member. This site has gone to shit for many reasons but the others only moved on. I can also see that it is the time that you moved on from this (now) shithole of a site. I will be one of those who will miss you. So long ADB...

Why would you spam the site if you like it? Why not try to make it better? All it would take is a few (maybe a dozen) members to post some good threads and this would be a busy forum. But instead you quit and then try to wreck the forums with spam. What use is that? If you see problems with this site, try to help make it better by posting cool threads and joining in on the discussions you like. It’s just that simple. It’s just the internet, it’s supposed to be fun isn’t it?

People bitch about the newbs like we are supposed to be their all-knowing and all-respected slave masters or something. If you have a problem with some faggot causing trouble then you need to do something; call him out, hack him, blackmail him, or stalk him. Personally, I look forward to the times when somebody comes here and tries to push us over.
And instead of calling quits whenever there is a slow period in the forums, why don’t try to do something about it? Try to make a good topic or start some type of controversy. You’re blaming everybody else for the site being shitty, but you can go ahead and blame yourself right along with them.
There have been many good times on RottenEggs, and I know that there will be many more to come.

I’ve been on web forums of some variety since I was a mere child, and I’ve seen many people, old and new alike, start topics about how they’re disappointed with the state of things and are leaving.
Based on what I’ve seen in the past, this is done purely for attention a good 90% of the time. The person leaves, and everybody cries and says, "No, please stay! This place is still cool! Don’t go! You’re right man, it’s fucked up. It’s all fucked up, but we swear we’ll fix it if you just stay here! Please!!!" *sob sob, weep weep*
At this point, the person leaving is already planning his or her triumphant return. He’ll wait a few weeks to a few months, then come rolling in with a new profile pic, guns blazing, saying shit like "I’m back bitches! Did you miss me? Good, ’cause I’m back, and now I’m going to turn this shit around!" Cheers and happy reunions ensue, and the internet spends another day reeking of artificial, dramatic bullshit generated by the false social atmosphere that exists in cyberspace.
I’m not saying that’s what’s going on here...I’m just saying that anytime somebody up and leaves like this, I get suspicious about his motives.

Too many members seem to whine about shitty threads, eggs abd etc’s. Why not try to better this forum rather than whine about it? It’s easy enough to make a few good topics if your bored. Just make a topic that’s good instead of one that gives you or someone else a thread to whine in.

That was EXACTLY the case with ADB. He even spammed the GD forum for extra attention and begged me not to delete his account until he was done "proving a point". Turns out later that he didn’t actually have a point to prove.
Right now though, I am about seriously considering doing something similar myself. These popup ads are really annoying and I won’t stand for it.
