This isn’t a mean question but,

how come on TV and youtube and places, all you see is how advanced the US Military is,
and also, how powerful these new weapons come out.

Like, a mortar device that fires 3000rpm, or the Airbourne laser.
Or the newest tank, etc.

But on the other hand, everytime I watch the news, it says "more Soldiers died in Iraq today."

In a serious question, why does this happen?

Is it because they can’t use the new technology there?
Or is the new technology to powerful for what there trying to do?

Just because we have the amazing technology doesnt mean that our soldiers are invincible.

Most of the time the are getting hit by IEDs in humvees. The US army is better at killing.
