Is this a little sad?
This past summer I found my old copy of the Red version of Pokemon. I told my friend Chris about it, and since he lost his Blue copy, he ordered one off eBay. And then we played non-stop for 3 or 4 weeks. I normally don’t cheat in the game, you know, with the Gameshark or the Missingno item-sexer trick. But I used the ’shark to catch the critters that I wanted in my team, because after we beat the game, we said that we would battle one another.
And if any of you are interested, my team was made up of Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Nidoking, Machamp, and Alakazam.
Anywho, we both didn’t think that this was very pathetic. It was the summer, and things were getting pretty slow.
But then another one of my friends just found her copy of the red version this past week, and she hasn’t stopped playing it since. That then inspired my friend and I to find our Gold versions and... do the same fucking thing as before.
However, my Gold version save file gets erased whenever I finish using the gameshark, so I was forced to use my Crystal version.
Has anyone ever had a teen-age addiction to Pokemon?
BTW, I don’t have all of the versions. Infact, I never actually beat the Crystal version, and I got that game on my 10th birthday. I own the Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal versions.
Oh my God. I have to stop.

I remember when i was younger i borrowed the Yellow version off my friend, it kicked ass. I remember playing it all the time, but eventually i got up to a town i couldn’t pass, not because my Pokemon were weak, but because i didn’t know where to go.
Then i borrowed the Blue version off another friend, and played that non stop, and i forgot to return it back...
I don’t own a Gameboy, so i just play it on my N64 using the gameboy expansion pack and Pokemon Stadium.

I never played pokemon, although at my school last year there was a 2 week long phase of people taking their gameboys to school and playing it.

I recently beat Crystal version, and then I got Pearl, and beat it a little while ago.

I remember when my parents got me Pokemon: Crystal for my birthday. It was so popular they had to go to about 5 different stores just to find it because it was sold out.
I had Crystal, Blue, Gold, and Silver.
Man those were the days... I also had a Pokemon trading card game and pokemon pinball for the gameboy.
I remember the save glitch where you can clone your pokemon.

Start over and make a kickass team... unless you’re sexually attracted to your lvl 35 Hitmonchan or something. God Bellsprout was ugly.
