First car? Nothing under a ’90 and I’m just looking to spend around $800.00 USD. I’m sure there is something out there for that much that would last me atleast 6 months to a year. Until I have more money saved up to get a better one.

Get a 91 Pontiac firebird/Chevy Camaro. Fun car, and you can find them for hella cheap. Older mustangs as well.
Other sleepers, cars that are hella fun to drive but are really underated, the Torus SHO, Mustang SVO, nissan 300zx, nissan 240sx, Dodge Stealth, Eagle Talon

If you only have 800$ to spend, I wouldn’t consider choosing a car then buying, I would consider finding all the cars available in your price range, then choosing.

I bought my Geo Metro for $600. All I put into it was a clutch and an alternator belt. Gets almost 40 MPG. Been driving it for about 8 years with no problems...
If you want a cool, decently fast car, get an old police cruiser. They usually have a lot of miles on them, but they’re built. And, you can make it look like a taxi, pull up to a curb at the mall with the doors locked, and watch the people try to get in your car.
Either that, or get a Chevy Spectrum w/turbo. Sleeper.
