Being as I’m a cheap mother fucker and I don’t want to pay for wireless internets, I went out and bought a USB wireless network adapter hoping that I could pick up some of my neighbors internets, but their all encrypted and I cant use them, is there a way around this?

Go ask them for the key?
Your not going to just crack it, because if you had the resources to decrypt it you would not have to ask for help in doing it. Sorry, it’s very complicated and you’d need at least some experience, as WLAN keys are some of the longest and hardest to break.
You could also try to find out what kind of wireless router they have and start trying all the defaults. First telnet into it, and try the user: ADMIN and the password as either 1234 or PASS. Then either type sh ver, sh run conf or if it’s not a cisco router, root around for something that might be title DNS or DHCP settings, and look for a long encrypted key. Copy it and then get out, use that key

The netgear default is admin, and the password=password. Net tools should decrypt it though.

default username and password for linksys products are admin admin or admin with no password. And how is he supposed to connect if it’s wep encrypted? Do you think they’re going to let him hook in via cat-5?
btw, who uses a cisco router at home?

I doubt they have any advanced encryption, gimp. I’ll post an egg on how to hax it when it’s WEP encrypted, because the WEP method is flawed.

First off, I use a Cisco 2600 at home for shits and giggles. Second, if he an see the network, he can get to the router using telnet if he knows the IP. He’d have to go somewhere like Starbucks where there was free wireless, but hey, thats for him to figuer out.

Don’t be so rattled by Alle’s way of communication. He seems like a dick to everyone at first. And then he’s the one you claim your love for, and he leaves you in a bed with an asshole full of vasoline, as your just waking up with a note on your door saying "kthx"
