This keeps coming up. It is my main problem on my computer. Whenever I open a folder for the first time of the day, IE will pop up with that PrivacyTools shit thats listed under the Spybot’s Findings. Even if I remove it, it still comes up.
What should I do? I’m sure if I really thought about it and played around with it, I could figure it out. However I was hoping someone on here would help.

Now don’t you think I tried that?
I already use FireFox, not IE. The cookies get cleared at least once or twice a week with CCleaner.
I’m not computer illiterate, I just thought someone else may have had the same thing and figured out a way to quickly and easily get rid of it.

Yea I know its not dangerous, and I have done all that. Its just a pain in the ass everytime I open a folder to have to quickly X out of an IE window or 3 more will pop up.

PCPrivacyTool is spyware, there’s most likely spyware that Spybot isn’t picking up that’s regenerating those cookies. Try some different scanners, if that doesn’t work, just open them up in Notepad, clear the contents, and save, then don’t delete them again.

It’s just a tracking cookie. Nothing to be alarmed about really.
But if you REALLY have to get rid of it, just delete your system32 folder. That always works.
