I got a Digital camera for my kids to take pics with, (really didn’t want to give them mine i just spend over 700 for it)
Had it for about a year now.
When the memeory card was full i UL the pics on to my computer like I have done a million times before.
However the last time I did it, which was the exact same way on the same comptuer the memeory card now doesn’t work and the camera doesn’t recognize that it is even there.
I don’t know much about camera’s so reformated the card and that didn’t work.
Does anyone here know what I did wrong and/or how to fix it.
I have gone from 100 pic to just the 7 that the camera hard drive will hold.
Any help would be great.

Dont buy anything for your kids. Insist they were to blame, then stick them in a dungeon and turkey slap them for 6 hours straight.
How old are they?

This just happened to one of my friends. And she just went out and bought a new CF card, and it worked fine. Sometime some sorts of Cameras aren’t compatible with certain cards.

Do you have a docking station, or do you connect with a USB cable, or a card reader?
If it’s an external card reader or a USB cable, do you click a little icon in the bottom right to disconnect it from your USB? If not, that can cause problems. Sometimes (I think) it’ll leave partial file info on the card, and make it unreadable. But, I would think formatting would fix that...
Camera make/model, and upload method, plz....

it is just a small cam
it is a 4.1 mega pixels Sony Cyber-shot
I don’t use a USB cable or docking station I just take out the memory card and put it in a slot in my computer.
I have done this a million times before, had the camera for over a year now.
Now all of a sudden it just doesn’t recognize the card.

Get a USB cable and try it out that way?
Re-install software/re-recognize hardware/format C: drive?

You either wore out the contacts on the card or the card is simply just worn out.
Quit being a broke hobo and get a new card.

hey i cant make new threads so i thought i’d ask a question here. What happened to defiler? I used to know him on my old account but i heard he is dead, is this true?
