New site-wide rule
Effective immediately
Do not spread the personal information about a member of Rotteneggs by any means, including off-site communication. Personal information is any information that could lead to a member or his family being contacted off-line (i.e., full name, phone number, home address). Any member of Rotteneggs confirmed to be spreading personal information of another member will be banished from Rotteneggs until the administration decides you can come back, which may be never.
Anybody who is guilty of this already had better stop it right now, because this is serious and you really will be banished, no matter who you are.
Being harassed at home is not a game that anybody wants to play, so please help put a stop to it. If you see somebody spreading another member’s personal information then please capture some evidence and report it to an administrator.
Please keep all posts in this thread on-topic.

How much jurisdiction do you guys (THE ADMINS/MODS) honestly have involving "off-site communication"?

They can’t stop you from communicating the information off of this site but they can ban you from this site if they do find out that you have. So basically they have no "jurisdiction" but they can decide weather or not you should be allowed to use this site based on your actions.

You shouldn’t have even had to make this a thread. It’s already a rule, and if someone breaks it, ban them. It’s the users responsibility to read the rules.
I understand why you did make this a thread though...

This is a good rule, saves everyone from eachother.
As JJoechump said, they cant police what you do off of RE, but they can decide whether you come back or not.

It’s also a good idea not to share your personal information with anyone. It’s hard not to do that, though.

Unfortuneatly today’s up and coming generation have so many freakin idiots that feel entitled to their every whim and dont take into consideration or care what their actions can do to another person.

Probably the whole rumor with Alle’s info being posted and some little snitch calling his house and narcing to his parents, which some say is true and others deny
