I need new music, I’ve begun to grow bored with what I have.
I’d like something similar to Modest Mouse’s Building Nothing Out of Something album.
I’m going to give The Pixies and Sonic Youth a try, but I can appreciate any other recommendations.
And no, I don’t care much for Ska.

Just listen to a few of the bands listed here and you’ll find something you’re into if you like indie rock:

I really like indie. Pixies have got some really good stuff but it’s not for everyone. Anyone who’s seen Fight Club will have heard the song during the end scene when the buildings blow up; that’s a Pixies song called Where Is My Mind? Another better known (or popular) song is Debaser.

I’d say for you to check out the band Stars and the band The Editors. The Editors are a band my friend told me about, and although they’re not my favorite, it’s definitely music I can listen to when I’m just chilling out. Stars I discovered by streaming their latest cd, and I highly recommend them.

Pandora fucking sucks.
You pick one or two artists to begin with and if you start using the rating system then it could totally fuck your station up. I hate it and it’s unbalanced.
