i want to change my life around. at skool im known as that weirdo or that fat asshole. im fat true but im a little but not that mean. i have like 8 friends and im always get shited on. i wanna be cool popular plz help me

Dont care what other people think.
Thats what I do, though ive got friends and am in a good social standing anyways. But whenever someone gives you shit, just blow it off. Tell em "And since when do I give a shit what you think?" Social groups and the whole "clique thing" mean nothing after high school.
Dress however the fuck you want, and act however the fuck you want to your group of friends. Dont let other people dictate how you live your life, cause if you do, then youre just a tool.

Trust me, ask anyone on this site who is out of high school, or is a high school upperclassman, and theyll tell you that all that "social group" bullshit starts to fade away and is only really kept alive by the tools and the ditzes, basically.

While being yourself is a good idea, you should be respectful of others. I’m a Senior in high school with less than three months to go until I’m out. There is this Sophmore at my lunch, and he...let’s say he marches to the beat of his own drum. However, his drum is loud and obnoxious and disrespectful, so when someone asks him to lower his voice, he gets very defensive and starts yelling about "freedom of speech". Well, the fact of the matter is, noone would give him shit at all if he would just have said "Oh, sorry" and tried to be more polite and aware of others.
TL;DR --> if someone is being an ass to you because of something you’re doing, just keep in mind you might be offending them or bothering them, and to just say "ok, sorry" and either calm yourself or move to a different area.

This is entirely true.
When I first started Highschool, I was instantly labeled and grouped.
However im almost done grade 12 now, and were all friends now.
Everyone is nice to eachother and people who used to be dick’s, actually talk to other people.
This may not be true for all schools I guess, but the majority?

Here’s a funny but true story of mine.
Before I went to high school I sprained my right ankle really badly and it took like
three months to heal, any way back to the story. After the holidays it was my first
day at high school I was still on cructhes because of my ankle, so for a week of
so I was was the new LONER:(. After a while a group of girls started to hang around
me because they felt
sorry for me, and a while after that we all stared to be friends and thats been going on
for 2 years. So the moral of the story is dont try to find friends let them find you.

In order to get friends though, you kind of have to find them. This means talking to people regularly, without them talking first. Always talk to people around you, easiest way to make friends.

People can change though, Daddy. Never forget things can change. I’ve got some really good friends now I never imagined myself being friends with.
When you understand people are just like you, you’ll make friends everywhere. Getting to know someone properly is the difference between a friend and a friend. Most people won’t show themselves immediately, and if they do it’s generally a facade. Never judge someone on first impressions.
I’d say more but the pizza made me lose concentration because I’ve the the drungers.

I was meaning don’t change to be accepted because you wont be true to yourself.But yeah everyone changes and like you say I am friends with people I never thought I would be too.I think it is as people get older they grow to accept people the way they are,unlike school where it is pretty harsh.Everyone gets sounder after they "grow up"

pfft, don’t be anything but yourself, trying to change to fit in won’t work because you’ll end up being yourself after a while anyway. People will have to like you for who you are, not who you are trying to be. Go -places and do things that you like, people there are who you should hang with as they have the same interests as you.

No, assimilative change to fit in is good. Don’t forget the social paradigms. You can’t kill people around you and expect them to like you. If you’re an asshole then yes, you need to change to fit in. You’re going all out black and white, the shades of grey need more of a mention than black or white. Nothing is ever that simple. Life is a tricky business, hahaha.
