Find it illogical, asinine, and just plain crass that some pro-lifers actually support the death penalty?

Yeah, but they think its justified to kill a human being (as punishment) right at the moment they did something wrong to deserve said punishment.
p.s.: I support the death penalty.

Me too. And I’m not pro-life. I support abortions. It would be like killing a fish.

i’m for the death penalty if it’s a prisoner that’s going to cause just as much shit behind bars (gang leader, kills/assaults other prisoners) as he will outside.
Personally, i think my whole life behind bars is a far worse punishment than being in for 15 then being "let go".

I don’t support any of it, they should suffer for a long time for their crimes. Dieing is too good for them.

I hope you morons realise that it costs more to put someone to death than it does to put them away for life. I’m against the death penalty but for abortion, a baby isn’t a living thing unless it has a heart beat and at the time of most abortions the baby does not have a heart beat.

It would be smarter to support Abortions and Euthanasia then it is to support the Death Penalty.
Death Penalty is inhumane, a waste of time, resources and especially money, the cost of all the litigation is so much it is incredible, the cost to keep someone behind bars looks like chump change compared to someone who is going to get the ol’ needle. Oh and Yeah, lethal injection isn’t peaceful or humane, the person is usually fully aware and paralysed, it looks peaceful and humane to the by standers but it is not, the person is paralysed but fully aware and suffocate to death from not being able to breathe.
Plus not to mention, some people aren’t actually guilty of the crimes they are suspected of commiting, and a lot of people believe it or not, do not want to die.

Quote: Death Penalty has Cost New Jersey Taxpayers $253 Million
A New Jersey Policy Perspectives report concluded that the state’s death penalty has cost taxpayers $253 million since 1983, a figure that is over and above the costs that would have been incurred had the state utilized a sentence of life without parole instead of death.
Quote: Death penalty trials cost an average of 48% more than the average cost of trials in which prosecutors seek life imprisonment.
Quote: n its review of death penalty expenses, the State of Kansas concluded that capital cases are 70% more expensive than comparable non-death penalty cases. The study counted death penalty case costs through to execution and found that the median death penalty case costs $1.26 million. Non-death penalty cases were counted through to the end of incarceration and were found to have a median cost of $740,000.
I’m right about the death penalty.
and... I meant breathing. Sorry about that.
The foetus is still not classified as a living thing until the last few weeks of pregnancy anyways.

wow, so you think the death penalty is a waste of time/resourses compared to giving them a worry free life w/o having to pay for any food or lodging?

Death Penalty’s are expensive
Besides, what if, after many years, people realized they killed the wrong person.
That would cause a lot of problems
So I don’t support death penalty’s
throw them in jail, or use them for manual labour (supervised)
we can make use of them one way or another... they owe the community
as for abortions... I’m a bit sketchy on that topic.
In my eyes, it really just depends.
