My phone (The Wave(LG AX380) is a mp3 player..ok? Well, it doesnt play very loud unless i use headsets/external speaker with sound controls..and...well, thats not very convenient to carry around... So, what im wondering is, how do i make the volume go up higher?
All i have to offer is 800 points after i trade in puzzle pieces...

The speakers will get damaged if you somehow make the music play louder than it should.
It can melt the coils in the speaker. then it sounds shallow and crackly.
Maybe replace the speaker?

The sound quality is fine (if that was what you were implying) it just isnt very loud.
Where could i get another better speaker to be installed?

Does it have a mini headphones jack (like an iPod) or just a headphone jack for the cellphone headset?

It has a smaller headphone jack. I use a converter and just use normal headsets though.

Gimpy, he HAS external speakers, but thinks they’re too bulky and wants to make it louder without adding extra bulk.

do you mean, it doesnt play loud on your headphones?
because the converter might be taking away from the volume
i’m not sure though

Yes thats wat i meant. Im trying to make the internal stock speaker louder/find a better replacement speaker that can be installed.

I dont need it for my headsets, they plenty loud. Plus that has the a bigger plug that wont fit into my phone.
I need a new replacement internal speaker/amplifier. Its fine as is, as long as i use headsets/external speakers with seperate volume control.

There is no way you can do it without buying something external like that small amp link that gimp gave you. Besides that you are stuck with the volume you have. Or you could carry around a boom box....

Just use the headset, noone else wants to hear your music. Maybe it’s just me...but I can’t stand when people blast their music in public...
But if you must...how big is the speaker that is in your phone?
